Julieta Gonzalez
Hello! My name is Julieta Gonzalez and I teach Spanish at the British International School in Wroc³aw. I come from Mexico City. As a child I was already attracted to the arts, especially drawing. I went to an Artistic High School, where I was also trained to teach art to children and youngsters. During my studies in this institution I had my first contact with music and the theatre.
During the last two years of my university studies I had an Illustration and Poster design teacher from Krakow. One day she came to the class with a beautiful catalogue of Polish posters, and that very day I decided that I wanted to come to Poland to specialize in Poster Design at the Fine Arts Academy in Krakow. There I worked with different Institutions as designer.
In Krakow I also finished my musical studies at the Academy of Music and began to sing at concerts and work with professional groups.
I worked in Geneva and Lausanne as a designer, singer and as a Spanish language teacher. I was a member of different musical ensembles of Early Music and we performed concerts in France, Italy and Poland. Now I live in Wroc³aw, and I am happy to share my love of the Spanish language with students at BISC, and at the same time fulfil my musical aspirations.
