Izabela ŁuczkowskaMy name is Izabela Łuczkowska and I am the Foundation Stage teacher. I received my Master's degree in Social Pedagogy at the University of Warmia and Mazury. My last classroom teaching experience was as a teacher at Gretchen's House Child Development Center in the United States. My work there was based on the high standards set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with children from all over the world and help them realize their potential. This will be my third year working at BISC Wroclaw. I left teaching for one year after the birth of my first child. I am ready now to come back to teaching in the classroom and once again use my skills with many children. I feel that teaching after motherhood will give me a better perspective into children' lives, now that I am a parent. Foundation class is an exciting time as children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning. For many children, coming to Foundation is their first experience of being away from home and family. My first priority is to help them feel happy and secure in this new environment, relate confidently to adults and work and play with other children. Teaching is incredibly rewarding. It's great to watch children make progress and to be part of that progress. It also keeps you on your toes… no two days are ever quite the same. I hope to make your child's learning experience a fun and exciting one, and I hope to instill a love of learning that will last throughout your child's years of schooling. |
