Our Curriculum
The curriculum at BISC Wrocław is based upon the British educational system for 3 to 18 year olds.
In the United Kingdom, a child’s compulsory education is divided into four Key Stages which follow the government-based educational programme known as the National Curriculum.

Primary School, Key Stages 1 and 2, comprises ages 3 to 11, and includes the following classes:
Foundation (ages 3-5)
Year 1 (ages 5-6)
Year 2 (ages 6-7)
Year 3 (ages 7-8)
Year 4 (ages 8-9)
Year 5 (ages 9-10) Year 6 (ages 10-11).

Secondary School, Key Stages 3 and 4, comprises ages 11 to 16, and includes the following classes:
Year 7 (ages 11-12)
Year 8 (ages 12-13)
Year 9 (ages 13-14)
Year 10 (ages 14-15)
Year 11 (ages 15-16).

Students in Years 12 and 13 take AS and A2 examinations which qualify them for University entrance.
Our school therefore offers an outstanding and complete education for children aged 3 to 18.
BISC Wrocław uses current textbooks from the United Kingdom. These are loaned to pupils for the academic year, and must be returned to the school in June. Parents are expected to cover the cost of any lost or damaged textbooks.
